Moroni offered a way to save the Lamanites by their promise to not come to war with them again. Zerahemnah got mad and tried to kill Moroni. one of Moroni's soldiers cut of Zerahemnah,s scalp. the soldier used the scalp to convince the Lamanites to make the promise. This chapter taught me that everyone deserves a second chance.
